As a result, CSI Media were approached to create a new website which features a range of new functionality along with the fresh new design, that will help to streamline operations and increase productivity for the specialist travel company.
Despite the economic downturn, more passengers booked with Direct Traveller in the first half of 2009 than in all of 2008. The company also obtained 60% growth and, 40% of all reservations in 2009 were made online. Online bookings are also predicated to grow with the new website. The Online Co-ordinator at Direct Traveller stated that the system enables them to book holidays in half the time compared to offline bookings, and the updated system is hoped to improve their efficiency even further.
